BURLINGTON – A Russian wanted in a major drug case in his home country pleaded guilty Thursday in Federal Court in Burlington to illegally entering the United States at Derby Line two months ago.
Yury Nogaev, 26, a Toronto area businessman, was sentenced in U.S. District Court to time served behind bars since his May 31 apprehension in Orleans County. He is now subject to deportation proceedings, Magistrate Judge John M. Conroy said in court.
