Back in 2013, only Colorado Democrats thought it a good idea to offer state driver’s licenses to undocumented immigrants. Things have changed.
Next session, a bill to make the already-existent law function better for immigrants will be carried in the state Senate by two Republicans, Sen. Don Coram, R-Montrose, who carried the bill this year unsuccessfully, and, as of this week, Sen. Larry Crowder, R-Alamosa.
