BOULDER, Colo. – A preschool in Boulder announced Monday that it would be shutting down at the end of November after the church it leases space from voted to become a sanctuary for undocumented immigrants.
The director of Active Boulder Kids, Tina Davis, said in a statement to Denver7 it can no longer afford to keep the center open after several parents withdrew their kids from the program after the church’s decision.

The majority of the congregation of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Boulder voted last month to add living quarters inside the church for immigrants seeking sanctuary, the Boulder Daily Camera reported.
Davis said parents whose kids are enrolled in the preschool brought up several concerns about the arraignment to church leaders, but Davis said
