IPOH: The Perak Immigration Department arrested 32 illegal immigrants in an enforcement operation in six locations in Parit Buntar and Semanggol.
The four-hour operation which ended Sunday saw six Bangladeshis, four Indonesians, 20 Vietnamese, and two Thais arrested between 11.30pm Saturday and 3.10am Sunday.

State Deputy Immigration Director (Control) Ahamad Puat Abd Hamid said they inspected a total of 87 people at entertainment centres, construction workers quarters and residential houses, and detained the 32 for various offences.
He said those detained comprised eight men aged 20 to 50, 23 women aged 18 to 45, as well as a boy who was with his parents at the time.
