WASHINGTON — The House is moving to pass a pair of laws aimed at cracking down hard on undocumented immigrants on Thursday and punish so-called “sanctuary cities” by forcing them to give up federal funds for terror prevention and policing if they refuse to change their policies.
Both bills, strongly favored by President Trump, will be put on the House floor and are expected to pass largely along partisan lines.

Trump heralded the legislation at a Wednesday event with family members of those killed by undocumented immigrants, arguing the bills would help keep more people from suffering the loss of loved ones.
