MEMPHIS, Tenn. – FOX13 has learned The Department of Justice representatives will hold a meeting in Memphis Friday, August 11.

The DOJ will discuss the recent National Public Safety partnership to reduce violent crime that includes Memphis.
This meeting comes weeks after customs agents rounded up suspected undocumented immigrants.
FOX13 has learned some of those detained had no criminal record.
The round ups still frighten many immigrants living in Memphis and Shelby County both legally and illegally.
Lilianna Oquendo, immigrated from Venezuela, went to the Las Americans Youth Development Center to get a backpack full of donated school supplies for her children.
Oquendo told FOX13 she fears for her children’s safety
